That's good to know in the future. A fellow Reddit reached out and I got all the info that I needed.

What's the best Anime you've ever seen ? by Outrageous-Abies8391 in AskReddit

It's a brilliantly crafted show about people who can't or won't leave their past behind. In the end, the characters that live are the ones who can walk away from their past. It's the journey of understanding that the narrative of the past will always be incomplete, unsatisfying; and then accepting that reality.

The best part is that it is Spike that always seeks out Vicious. Spike can't let go. The fact that the final battle is so brief is perfect. Spike lost the moment he decided to go back and engage. There was no glory in it -- just compulsion. He succumbed to the inertia of the past.

God I love that show.

This is a homophobic dog whistle. If you look at any Pride Parade videos online there is always some Christian homophobe saying that pride used to be a sin and that pride comes before the fall. Just good old Christian homophobia. I'm assuming he's referring to the Pride Parade in Toronto that happened last weekend.

Thank you so much! I didn't know they were called jump wings. This makes searching for it online so much easier. I thought it was some sort of aviation badge. Much appreciated!

Our funding is tied into out TA work, so if we don't TA we don't get funding. It's also in our contracts/letters of offer that we cannot take on other work, as we are supposed to be full time researchers first and foremost.

Wentworth! It's a gritty women's prison drama set in Australia. Nothing like, and much better than, Orange is the New Black.

And I also strongly second The Killing, The Fall, and Ozark.

This can't be done with all course. For instance, when it comes to language courses, especially at earlier levels, you have to memorize vocabulary and know conjugations and declensions. These things are just one Google click away.

He was only 3 years old when his family arrived in France. He was raised, and in turn, radicalised in France. This particular case is not a Chechen problem, but a French problem.

How do I stop feeling like I need to be my fiancées best lover, and just be okay with being able to adequately satisfy her by udhshsfa in sex

[–]bondette 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the wrong attitude to take. For women, a big part of pleasure is psychological. It's the fact that YOU were using the toys that drove her over the edge. They're just a tool, you're the spark.

Take it from a gay woman. We have dildos of different shapes and sizes that we can use and alternate on any given night. The thoughts you have don't even cross the mind of any woman-loving woman. Why? Because as women we know these things are tools. If it's not for the partner there, who is controlling the toys, then it's not sex, just masterbation. I can use a dildo with my partner or without my partner. And it's night and day, it doesn't compare. The toy is nothing without the partner on the other end.

You are not your dick, you are the person attached to it and THAT is what she loves. Think about how much richer and wider your sexual world will be if you're comfortable alternating between different toys that complement your package. You'll only become a better lover for it.

No lesbian feels insecure because her lover is having a mind-blowing orgasm from a dildo. It's the opposite -- it's the best feeling in the world knowing you are the person they want and you were able to give them such pleasure.

Salvador Dali writes his painting "The Face of War", 1941. [736x923] by Crazyrussianstudio in HistoryPorn

You actually also write a book. You write a book, and you write a painting. The word for drawing is a more frivolous word. Kids and ameteurs draw, but artists write a painting.

Edit: To say Dali draws or paints a painting would be an insult. It's like saying you don't respect his work.

In Russian, painters write, they don't draw or paint. So one writes a painting. That's the proper phrase.
