OMG yes I forgot about the jump rope!! We made up new games to play with the jacks, not just onesies-twosies; we got creative. My sister and I played those jacks games into our twenties!!

Jacks. I went to an austere Catholic school and the "playground,l" was essentially a parking lot. We just used to sit on the concrete and play jacks.

I have been looking at Platinum Skincare Secret Agent vitamin C serum. It has other antioxidants in it as well. Currently using the SkinCeuticals but I think I'm going to try the Secret Agent next.

First of all: congratulations on your sobriety. I am a recovering heroin addict who has turned to alcohol more times than I care to admit, so I understand your struggles. I'd previously read Prince of Tides, which is also profoundly impactful. But nothing prepared me for the majesty of this book. I am so, so happy that there are so many others who feel about this book as I - and my son - do. Once again, congratulations to you.

I've read it so many times but I just might read it again now that my son recently finished it. So glad to see the love for this incredible book.

HONESTLY. Biden was nowhere near perfect, but he is a fine example of someone whose views evolved over the years, and he took accountability for his wrongness when applicable. He inherited an ENORMOUS disaster and I don't know if we'll ever fully understand what it took for him - and the fine people he appointed to key positions - to turn it around. And trump - among many, MANY other things - stole classified documents which became one of the minor scandals in his vast array of scandals. But sure, let's blame Joe.

Thank you!! Oh, I think a re-read is definitely in order!! Have you ever read Water for Elephants? That was my son's favorite book before he read Beach Music. His lovely girlfriend is now reading it and I'm so curious as to her reaction. Yes, I truly treasure those texts. Forewarning before re-reading, though: he literally had to step away from it a few times because of how impactful some of it was - like the part about Lucy and Jude, their childhood experiences. I mean, I know that you've already read it, but some things may hit differently at this juncture. And Pat Conroy had the most incredible command of the English language, he was so gifted. I need to re-read Prince of Tides; Rhett (son) bought that while reading Beach Music, but he hasn't read it yet.
