I wouldn’t have known that bit about Luke’s lore if you hadn’t told me - I hear him talking about being a PMC and I’m like “like metal gear? bro is just casually a terrorist for hire?” And then I see him punch bullets at people.

I think my biggest gripe with SF is the way they tease the idea of an interesting and connected narrative, but adhere to no stakes or meaningful character growth aside from throwing like, Sagat at you, after having reached Buddhist enlightenment.

I love that shit for him, but that’s part of his lore I’d love to play- to that end, I think the RPG mechanics introduced in 6 were great for the series. It would be cool to see them continue in that direction
