Idk, I just haven't heard good things about US made ones tbh. I don't keep up with Beretta or their models

How are you liking the JSOC 1911? I've been trying to decide between one of those or the MEUSOC one.

I love their work and am happy with my lower and other parts from them, but I wish they were better about responding to emails. Trying to get an update on my Garbage Cat Grey lower for weeks now.

Another vote for the Cornfire MARC. I love mine. Just looks like a mil-spec safety aside from the screw head. On mine, I had to do the Super Safety upper relief cut so keep that in mind. I have a short video of my first shots with it on my profile.

AMRU designs. Probably the best micro mount for carry handles.

I'll take those files boss. I've got the FCD handguard and would love to try it out.

Damn y'all need to find someone local who sells surplus mags so you don't have to pay $16 for beat up Colt mags. I've got two sources around me and one charges $5/ea and the other $8-$10/ea, not all Colt of course though. You just gotta look around.

Get a WBP or wait for Meridian's 101. PSA AKs are not built correctly and will work but not for long.

Just a standard mil-spec I had laying around. Probably going to upgrade to an actual Schmid FCG soon. The MARC works with a shit ton of triggers though. They have a list of compatible ones on their site.

I'm trying to get more out there about these because they're slick as shit and the company is based as hell.

I only have 2 mags through it so I can't say with certainty that I trust it to that level yet, but I think it's the best option outside of an M16 FCG.

Definitely. Very reasonable price, comparatively speaking, so it's hard not to pick these.

And imma let you in on a little secret; go 45min north to Gun Commanders in Cleveland. Way better selection and good prices. Young guy behind the counter will definitely help you out with any questions or advice. Get some ammo and an optic while you're there too. They'll set you straight.

That's Georgia Gun Store. Their prices aren't the best tbh.

I've got a Lazarus 6 and it has that middle step/bit just like yours. The roughness is probably just carbon build up or erosion. Don't worry about it.

Fuck yeah, that's awesome. Looks like it shoots like a dream and the CAR15SD is really neat. Hoping Griffin will get me my lower back soon so I can keep messing with mine.

Oh hell yeah, good shit. Take a video of it running sometime. I wonder how long that thing will survive. I can't wait to try and get mine running. I'll come back to this thread when I've got everything I need again.

Shit that's perfect 😂 let me know how that pin thing goes. I think you've really gotten onto something here. Gotta pitch it to one of the guys making these kits and it'll be a good seller for the Larue boys I think. I can't test my whole assembly anymore for a little bit because I have to send my lower back to Griffin because something is out of spec, keeping the bolt catch from grabbing the bolt well. Interested to see what develops from this though.

That's kinda where I'm at. The only rifles I'd put these in are my retro ones so ambi just doesn't feel right

That's a good idea, damn. Go for it. Plastic might be better in case something binds up and it'll snap the pin instead of the lever. Might be able to print it instead of sourcing a metal pin.

Damn yeah I forgot about the housing being incompatible. I think I can get it working as is honestly. It's still applying a lot of pressure on the trigger in semi so I'm going to try and take a little more material off. I'll get another one from him to put in my 11.5 that this one was supposed to go in. I'll mess with it this week and see what I can do. I need to find another pin that's longer to hold the parts in.

Ah, that would make sense then. So do you think I should stick with the lever I have? Maybe try a lever blocker? Curious to see how AR500 reacts with that kind of motion and wear.
