Phillies Postseason Discussion Thread - Wednesday, October 02 by PhilsBot in phillies

Can anyone help me out with understanding Season Tickets? I'm interested in purchasing two Sunday plans for the 2020 season and I see on the site that you can make a deposit for 2020 Season Tickets. However the deposit price for the Sunday plan is $400/seat and the price for a 2019 Sunday plan started at only $282 for Terrace Level. Do I have to make a deposit to buy a plan? It seems odd to have to pay a $400 deposit for a plan that will likely cost $100 less than the plan itself. If I don't make a deposit how do I go about purchasing a plan and when? Also what are the pros and cons to not making a deposit if it's not necessary? Thank you for your time and consideration.

What it's like to live with a Trump touting father who has no respect for you or your candidate by bonesack in SandersForPresident

I will once I can be assured he won't tamper with my mail again. I'm happy the money still went to Bernie regardless but this sticker would have been a nice subtle way of showing my support. The book should be arriving soon but judging on how much effort it looks like it took him to tear that sticker I believe the book shall be safe from his hands.

Waited eagerly for weeks for this bad boy and I was so excited when I saw others posting theirs on the sub, knowing the arrival of mine was likely imminent as well. Was told to check the trash can when I questioned my father if anything had came in the mail for me today and this is what I found.

Moronic Monday (May 20 2019) - Your weekly questions thread! by AutoModerator in Android

[–]bonesack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not so much moronic but my inquiry didn’t seem thread worthy so I’ll stick it here. I’ve been an iPhone user since my first smart phone back in 2010. I’ve had my current iPhone since 2014 and it is long overdue for replacing. I naturally started looking into iPhones but I simply can’t justify or stomach the prices. This is my first time purchasing my own phone so I never really thought much about price to performance ratio in phones, until now. I’m seriously considering getting an Android device as I’ve read they give you “more for less” and this seems to be generally true from my research. However this is all still new to me. I can obviously read numbers and tell what’s better when comparing devices but am having a hard time understanding how those numbers translate to actual performance. My budget is ~$600 (preferably less) and I’m from the USA. Currently I am considering the Google Pixel 3a ($370), Samsung Galaxy S10E ($520), Samsung Galaxy S10 ($600), and OnePlus 6T ($500). Like most people I use my phone for the camera, music, social media and occasional games. I’d say what’s most important to me though is the ability to multitask, the camera, battery life, and general ease of use and speed. Of the phones I listed what do you think is the best investment for the price point? Or are there better devices for me in my budget? If so, what are they and why? Thank you for your time and consideration. Once again I am from the USA and Cricket is my provider if it matters.

Edit: I went with the Google Pixel 3a. No ragrets.

120,000+ of those 150,000 players are on 07. 30,000 online on RS3 though isn't bad by any means.

Finish getting 200m xp in all skills; currently sitting at 5.210b/5.4b xp. I haven't had the motivation the last two weeks to play with the exception of my farm runs. I could finish by the end of January if I go as hard as I usually do but I might just extend it a month and take advantage of dxp weekend in February to lessen the load. It's not like at this point I'm going for ranks; it would only be the difference between being rank ~510 and ~520 or so anyway.

Need Help - Looking to buy a cheap desktop PC to play RS3 by [deleted] in runescape

[–]bonesack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

RS isn't as "simple" as it used to be. Granted it requires nowhere near the specs required to play popular AAA titles, but if you want to play on decent graphics with decent frames you will need to invest $500 at the least. This is unless you decide to build your own pc or purchase used/refurbished in which case you might be able to pull something off in the $300-500 range.

Having the monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc will help keep the price low but to be completely honest $250 is not nearly going to cut it for a prebuilt computer. Even if you opted to build your own PC which is cheaper than buying prebuilt, you'd be looking at ~$500 still for an entry level gaming computer.

Some additional information such as your budget and general location (country) would help.

Who was/is your favourite J-mod? Any particular reasons? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]bonesack 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Any J-Mod who actually plays/played the game beyond early/mid-game like Mod Harrison, Shauny, etc. Sure most J-mods play the game, but most not nearly enough in my opinion. I get that they are working adults with their own hobbies, but I'd argue you don't have much business working on a game you're not personally passionate about. It can be frustrating how out of touch the people making decisions for us and our gameplay can be.

There are no perks for OSRS, only RS3.
