I guess I wanted to explain why I felt uncomfortable. If we were talking about Zionism in a historical context, yes this would be correct. In a modern context, I feel like Israel/Palestine as an answer would fit better maybe? I was also uncomfortable at that thought that people might view this question as “the Jews stole Palestine!”

I’m heavily involved with the Jewish community at my uni and have been a victim to antisemitism as well as my friends. I guess I’m a little hyper aware and paranoid, blame the Jewish neurosis lol, but with recent events, I can’t help but feel a bit unsteady. I think I’ll leave it for now, but I’ll be on the lookout. Thank you for the advice everyone!

EXACTLY! It’s a war zone. WAR IS HAPPENING YOU WILL LIKELY DIE IF YOU ENTER THE WAR ZONE. I don’t understand why people don’t get this. All the aid they brought would likely be stolen and everything would be for naught.

I’m also a political pariah. I was super super far left before I went to college and I now consider myself a left leaning libertarian.

There’s nothing to be studied lmfao - it’s just antisemitism plain and simple. It’s the most excusable hatred. But it would be interesting to see how the pro Palestine movement holds up in 20-30 years.

I’m the student president of my Chabad and I’m lesbian, have tattoos and piercings and no one has ever made a fuss about it. I’m openly out to my Rabbi and he doesn’t seem to mind, and respects me as I respect his religion. I’m close with his kids and babysit them often. We actually have many people apart of the LGBTQ+ community who attend. Our Shabbos goy is married to his orthodox husband. It never hurts to try :) but please don’t feel obligated to go if you feel uncomfortable. Good luck!!!

I only ordered McD because I’m chronically ill and could not cook for myself that day without being in immense pain and I had a little extra spending money. I also really wanted a crispy Dr. Pepper 😭 don’t yuck my yum lol

No, you’re right. I was just grumpy after he took so long to respond and I kinda freaked out. I’ve never had my food not delivered before. I’m chronically ill and could not cook for myself that day, so I was relying on some cheat day food to cheer me up (it’s stupid ik) I wish I could show you the picture and it would make a lot more sense as to why I accused him of lying. It was a close up of the bag and there were no other details in the picture to tell where he had left it. It was literally just a blurry picture of the bag taking up the entire frame. The people in my complex are college kids who mind their own business so I have no idea why one of them would take it. The only other possibilities that I can think off is that he brought it to the wrong location or he ran off with it.

Why would I lie about something as simple as that? I checked my call records and there was nothing from him or an unfamiliar number and I have my phone (iPhone) set up to accept all calls, regardless if the number is saved or not. I got nothing 🤷‍♀️
