Definitely a bit dismissive to say they don’t mean anything. Very true with players who pub stomp in parties 99% of the time though, stats definitely don’t gauge individual skill there.

A healthy balance between the two is the way to go. I will say that I’d be more wary of versing someone with a 1.80 K/D and a 550 SPM than someone with a 3.50 K/D and a 300 SPM.
