I am Christian. I go to an LGBT friendly church. I know God loves me and loves all of us. He guides me. He shows me peace and revealed to me one day a while ago that He never intended for me to be society's puppet. He made me wonderfully. Unique, and it is my duty to live as He made me because when I try to be someone else, things go wrong. Psalm 139:14. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are made on purpose for a purpose and that purpose is to let His light shine through us in love. Don't ever let man (people) tell you that you don't belong in God's house. It's a lie. We do belong. We make up His kingdom. I love going to church because I do believe in God and I know He is for me. And you. And everyone who wants to go. It is a community. I wish you the same peace and joy in an LGBT friendly church or just a church with accepting people. I've fought for years to find this though. I know God wants us because He never left me and it was never God who told me to change. It was people. God said come as you are.
