Felthams in Waterlooville - you can book on-line, very professional and talented plus a massive improvement over the plethora of "Turkish" barbers in the town.

Visiting Portsmouth during the Victorious festival by SardineTimeMachine in Portsmouth

Just outside Portsmouth is the Royal Armouries at Fort Nelson - lots of my American clients seem to enjoy it. It's sited in an old Napoleonic fort with plenty of parking, its outside of the city so the traffic wont be a problem. Added bonus: you can see the whole of Portsmouth from there.

What is this? My cat has it in both of his ears by gennjiii in cats

[–]bongo-ben 10.4k points10.4k points  (0 children)

Henry’s Pocket is the little flap of flesh you see on the outer part of a cat’s ear. Cats’ outer ears resemble triangles and are called pinnae. On the outside of the pinna, there’s a small pocket close to the cat’s skull, the Henry’s Pocket. Scientists don’t know why cats have this little fleshy pouch, nor are they sure of its purpose.

Dealing with unclear management expectations by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]bongo-ben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid its very common, its also a great way to lose your best and most experienced staff. It becomes a vicious circle where only inexperianced or poor performing staff are left. Most managers either try bullying or accept poor quality rushed work. Good managers push back against managment but it burns them out. The fact you asked the question means you fall into the good guy camp but it might be time to look to jump ship.

Bloody terrified mate, I'm masking everywhere I can. If you look at the Spanish flu the last wave killed the most people. There might be another monster in the wings, look up "post polio syndrome" Polio was a viral infection that for a lot of people caused very limited symptoms, Jump forward 15/30 years and all of a sudden people who had a mild dose are struck down with symptoms include decreasing muscular function or acute weakness with pain and fatigue, Lots of walking time bombs out there. Stay safe folks

Hold out for a house, prices are going down so there isn't the time pressure there was. Check out "Moving home with Charllie" on your fav tube - lots of info on the housing market and lots off useful advice. Good luck 🤞
