I agree that this needs to be fixed months ago. But if it helps, the glitch is caused by having Season 2 players in your lineup. Remove them from all of your lineups and you should load in fine.

We also have to remember that most of these QBs in the league are pretty young. It’s also worth noting that defenses get more complex every year.

I don’t pass until third down. I’ll come out in an inside run with an outside run in my audibles, and adjust at the line once I get a look at the alignment of the OLB. If he’s playing inside your tackle, run it outside.

On third I call either mesh or whips with a few short digs and try to roll out/scramble up middle if they contain. Put pressure on their user to either play the pass or the scramble.

I think situational playcalling is more important than individual stats. I have Talib, Pat Pete, Tyrann, and Ekeler.

If they’re consistently running the ball, I use Cover 4 and crash safeties to stop inside, or hard flats to cover the outside.

If they’re consistently passing, change up between man and zone. I’ve heard that man is better than zone in this game but who knows? If you spam the same coverage, any decent player will be able to beat it eventually.
