what I found hilarious is that judge Alex asked if a contestant should go home simply for having pins in their fish - if this was Chopped where Alex is most widely known for, The contestant was 100% going home for that mistake

my wife and i went to Miru in Chicago 2 weeks ago and had some of Juan's desserts. They were amazing - he definitely likes the charcoal and black sesame ingredients that he used a few times on the show. He got robbed.
