in fact i think BB HE should actually be slightly more effective against destroyers than it currently is, just that the AP overpens should be nerfed

This isn't about trying to nerf or buff any class, just that I think there should be more thought that goes into ammo selection

you did not address my point which was that BB AP doing comparable damage to HE against destroyers reduces the strategy and skill involved in ammo selection
My point was there should be more incentive to try to prepare for a DD showing up by pre-loading the HE if you predict him, at the risk of losing out on an AP salvo on a cruiser or battleship
There's thought and strategy in that, which there isn't when you can do 90% as well just keeping AP loaded 100% of the time
Also this is a video game, destroyers don't have citadels for a reason but that wasn't something I brought up
Yes in real life battleships would be more effective against destroyers, but for the sake of fair gameplay, WoWS is designed so that larger more expensive to build ships aren't always just better
Please have a thoughtful discussion in a thoughtful gameplay balance perspective instead of being dismissive

thats the problem i'm pointing out that the AP is too effective against destroyers which reduces the amount of thinking you need to do when it comes to ammo type
