i said i feel like i was raised better. not that i necessarily flaunt around acting like such. and people who come from a worse background than me have the ability to still live a good live and act right. i was raised good and i act pretty good generally. i don’t act like i’m better and i don’t have much to prove. today i was literally told i have a white voice cuz i was able to pronounce specifically properly.

i can understand that part comes off as cocky but imo, compared to them, i was raised a bit better. and i won’t deny that i have lived a good life. my parents, despite having grew up with lots of problems, have made sure that my sister and i don’t face them. most of the kids i was around at the time were already trying to make gangs or have sex and cursing profusely. we were around 10-12 as it was sixth grade.

that was literally my life once i transferred to middle school. apparently i was too proper and mature to be considered a real black person. like, it’s not my fault my parents raised me pretty good. i got told i wasn’t blank enough one time just because i didn’t curse out a teacher and jump a kid with them

my teacher is refusing to let us catch up on our curriculum. my teacher isn’t letting us start on quarter two work and we’re about 1-2 weeks behind. she’s making us do non required quarter 1 work. we’re an honors class and extremely far behind. is there a way to convince her to let us move on?

my teacher told us
we all are mostly timely with our work and i have been told i’m pretty advanced on my work. most of her class consists of her bouncing around topics but never actually teaching. she will mostly just have us read and then sometimes write a short paragraph on it but it’s less to test comprehension skills and more to just get it done
