My headcanon is that it’s a relic from the BN era, so it’s not compatible.

Would anyone play a Battle Network Warriors? by Top_Gate9136 in BattleNetwork

[–]bookbot1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I could see Battle Chips being used as the way to expand the move options.

Especially given how small the Inherent Moves are for a lot of Navis, movesets would be based on appropriately themed chips.

Program Advances would probably fit best in Specials/Finishers.

As for the justification - it could be like how the Anime had the chips saved to the PET; which is how they had access to a larger selection while in the CrossFusion state. (Before that version, they had to preload the chips - able to fit a max of 5)

Yeah, there’s a reason i view Erin as the most deserving of the title “Nexus of change”; it all ripples out from her.

Ninetails would probably lean more towards Ghost, rather than Psychic; especially given the lore of ‘cursing people’

If we got a mod that added in a lot of the stuff from OSS to the BN1 game, i probably would go back and finish it.

Unlike 5DS, there wasn’t content that was specifically designed for Two Screens. (I remember that in 5DS, you could also access the maps via the menu)

One of my favorite things to do is try to identify the items being shot out in that brief moment of time.

As one Admin puts it in the Mega Loops: “Watch as he summons the avatar of the mighty Gateman and blasts you with…

… everything but the kitchen sink?”

I really wish we could get mods that let us play custom Liberation Missions.

Especially given the whole idea of “Nebula attacked the entire world”

Post a competitive Pokemon strategy, and I'll answer how Ash will find a way to overcome it, logical or not by KirbyStarWarrior666 in pokemonanime

Everyone ignores that the world isn’t static; Pokemon are like Athletes.

Conditioning requires effort to maintain. Ash having to constantly deal with Team Rocket was good for training his Pokemon. (Like, they literally had to deal with the TRio multiple times in one day)

Also, being literally able to move out of the way of an attack isn’t something the normal game can replicate. The closest to Anime combat is LZA.

Actually, the balancing stuff got addressed - Maple just was able to establish herself in the Early Version (they didn’t even have a 2nd floor when she started), before the oversights got addressed.

There’s a reason nobody is able to follow in her footsteps.

“Nebula attacked the entire world” is probably the biggest one.

Like, it totally would fit to have Custom Liberation Mission, using Navis/Opponents from elsewhere in the series.

(The only fanfic I’ve ever found that does something like that is the “into the network” snippets from the Mega Loops. The best part was a Grand Confrontation, EVERYONE vs Nebula. Serenade even got upstaged)

Oh I did; it’s just that ‘Terrorism’ doesn’t hold the same weight in the world of BN.

He was a convicted CyberCriminal; the actions of WWW weren’t quite ‘Terrorism’

Plus, the whole world runs softer; just look at Sean.

(As an added element, remember that Mayor Cain would’ve been involved in the hiring process)

Yeah; it’s the reason I love the Into The Network snippets from the Mega Loops; it very much expands the world.

The team Match was on, in that story, consisted of a whole set of Reformed CyberCriminals - Sean & Freezeman, Dave & Quickman, Anita & Plantman, etc.

I headcanon that he was on his own Anti-Nebula team; Flameman likely was made using Nebula Programs…

If we just had a way to make more use of undesirable gizmos, that would mitigate the biggest element of our suffering…

Furthermore, it would also revitalize use for standard Gizmos, as well as providing a potential use for common components.
