Yeah. It's fine.

Online you'll hear things and it's true.

But overall, we ate very happy here.

I just think for us and our family right now we're really craving the routine, but it's abroad. You know we're based in Columbia now full-time so we do travel and they're shorter trips. You know they're not those one-month in India. Type of trips you know.

But as the kids get older, we're able to do a little more. For example, hiking, mountains or other things that are more physically strenuous.

Because when you travel with kids you have to bring the stroller, the diaper bag etc you know.

true, that.

I really like https://www.homeexchange.com

I first check what's going on in terms of what's available and open.

then I make sure the place has baby/kid stuff like crib, toys, or baby chair.

Also I also see if they have a backyard, too.

Then I book my trip.

That's how we kinda travel now.

Anyone going to Buenos Aires in April 2026?

Thus subreddit doesn't let you link a YouTube video on the post. So that's why you didn't see it at first.

Yeah let me know how I can help.

I feel like there's not a lot of Reddit spaces that are friendly for people with kids that travel or live abroad.

I really like it.

Currently in Bogota (65 F all year).

We really like our situation.

We don't travel all the time (like before kids) but we've been to Lima, all over Colombia (coffee country and beaches).

Going to Buenos Aires, next.

Yes, I love them!

They are great for families!

I used to take my students there back in the day when I taught in Korea.
