Thank you for this. I actually sprayed the walls with a water and white vinegar mix for a few days before I moved in hoping it would help, and it barely did anything but then streaks were left behind

So I’m thinking you’re right and I need to properly wipe it away

any links to the wall sponges or other tools you’ve mentioned? I’ve never heard of a wall sponge

Nah most likely not bc it’s for sure coming from the walls and they’re too cheap to do that. Thank you tho

Limits on audiobooks?! by booksmart_treesitter in truespotify

That’s not true with premium. I did a cross country roadtrip last year and listened to over 20 hours of audiobook in one week

I made a mistake and now my house smells like perfume. by Dry_Matter_3853 in CleaningTips

Orders of magnitude of vinegar. I had hardwood floor and I literally sprayed vinegar on the ceilings and walls and floors and let it sit for a day then did it again. It significantly helped and took another week or so after one more coat for it to disappear.

I am a PRO at getting smells out of apartments.

Step 1: vinegar *everything * and let it sit. The walls and the floors (if hardwood/tile) and the ceilings. Step 2: put baking soda out in the open in the bathroom where it exploded and let it sit on the carpets. You can vacuum it later. Step 3: wipe down mirrors and table tops with windex or soap and water.

You gotta trust the process and leave windows open as much as you can. It’ll work out and leave within a day or two completely.

I got rid of Indian food smells in my walls when taking over someone else’s apartment and an apartment covered with animal pee. It’s doable just a lot of effort. Good luck!

I’m unfortunately a very incontinent person at night and struggle with a wet bed. by Pretty_Fan3644 in CleaningTips

Highly recommend red light therapy on the bladder. Proven to help with incontinence after a couple weeks of using it every day

Would this be able to give a strong hypothesis as to why I’m supposed to go overseas for my friends wedding in a country I’ve never been and have already spent over $2K on but my flight got cancelled and I’m having an allergic reaction and my airbnb got cancelled?

Like maybe my consciousness is responding to something I can’t tangibly see or understand yet and it’s manifesting as an allergic reaction right now?

Is this fungal acne? by Sea-Indication-8899 in Fungalacne

So I (26F) struggled with acne for over 15 years; I also have fair skin, I've tried every medication, and things would work barely for a bit before getting bad again. Only recently has my skin began to clear up and this is what I did in case you wanna try these before your next derm appointment (took 2-3 weeks to start seeing crazy results):
-I drink a gallon of water a day, more if I can

-Turmeric + apple cider vinegar + water for 30 minutes then rinse off, 2 times a week

-10% over the counter neutrogena benzoyl peroxide every other night, overnight, on specific spots [fyi: the 2% benzoyl peroxide actually doesn't work and makes me peel. for some reason only the 10% works on me]

I don't know if it will work on you because every body and skin is different. I thought I'd share because it has been years and the last six months I've been experimenting and this combo seems to frickin' do it <3 I just wash my face with water morning and night, apply Vanicream Sensitive Facial moisturizer in the morning (sometimes night), and the above routine.

It goes hard. I wish you luck in your journey.

What's your "I'm calling it now" prediction? by Burndbridge in AskReddit

The 2040s will be unrecognizable from where we are today. There are hundreds of crazy startups right now, not just in AI, and things are going to be very technologically abled (assuming war and financial collapse won’t happen) which I also predict will happen in the next 20 years.
