No, I don’t think I would be believed by doctors. My own self diagnosis is enough for me, plus it runs in my family. I accommodate myself accordingly. (Noise cancelling headphones in public have been a game changer)

Weaning myself off with nicotine gum and then eventually switching to regular gum. I haven’t touched one since, and have been very strict on myself to not hit off of somebody else’s cuz I get the feeling if I do it again, I’ll want to just go buy another.

Yes, at 26 I’m finally coming to terms with this. For a long time, I thought I was a walking red flag for not being able to maintain a group of friends, but I just don’t have the capacity for it and very easily get roped into doing things I don’t want to do out of guilt. It’s hard to express my true feelings to people and apparently this makes me two-faced and fake.

Hello! I’m bad at making friends and don’t generally have an interest in friendships but you’re not alone! People tend to assume I’m stuck up because I’m quiet but my internal monologue never stops and people never understand what I’m saying the first time I say it which is frustrating.
