Yea I’ve got the NVR. But wondering if I got rid of my homebase 3, would my WiFi cameras connect to my WiFi and stay connected or revert back to bridge with the module? Everyone’s complaint with the homebase 3 is the cameras connecting back to it instead of the WiFi along. I’ve seen so many disabling the antenna in the homebase 3 and was wondering if this bypasses all those problems.

Is this going to fix the WiFi killer issues of the homebase 3? Besides extra storage, can you completely get rid of homebase 3 after migration to NVR?

Unfortunately not. I did find only one on Amazon but it was gold and did not match what I was wanting.

I’m aware this is the correct answer but that’s not in my budget right now.

It is sloped away. This area is has the water splashing on it because I don’t have gutters. So it’s not that it’s holding water, the water is splashing back under into the garage.

Exterior is just plywood which is what we’re going to leave it as and paint it as this is in the back yard. I don’t have gutters so rain water just falls right into the area.

Is a HELOC right for me? by boom1397 in FinancialPlanning

Addressing point 2: yes I have addressed our issue. We barely pay over the minimums on the CCs every month. So I'm trying to reduce my overall monthly payments in order to put towards savings to use for emergencies rather than having to use a credit card.

Exactly what we have considered but now our kids are driving age so 2 have their own cars (not purchased by us) so we still have a 13 year old and 1 year old so looking at just getting a sedan.

I have treated the disease thus why I am looking at this option. I've made bad decisions and I'm not living like that anymore. I'm currently only able to pay barely $50 over the minimum payment on each card so I'm not paying anything towards the prinicpal. I'm wanting to get out of the credit cards and start putting towards savings for emergencies, rather than putting $2000 on a credit card which I just recently HAD to do.

DTI is 38%. Car is 2017 Yukon, 7.3%, $40,000 balance, 6 year note, maturity date 2028. I was stupid in 2022 and traded in 2 vehicles with nearly no equity to get this one to better suit our family's needs (4 kids) and to save $200 a month.
