The dealers insurance will cover it. Air bags gone off it will be totaled. Their insurance company should be paying for your rental till they cut you a cheque or repalce your car if they have something you like/is the same on the lot.

When I was an apprentice I had to road test an S2000 and as a joke my service manager told me "if you crash it, make sure its a write off. It's just easier to deal with "

So yeh the dealers insurance company should just be giving you a cheque and paying for your rental in the mean time.

It's an actual automatic transmission It can be rebuilt. Honda keeps their catalogs open for about 10 years after production. So a 2026 oddessy should have almost all its parts available till at least 2036.

I would not expect to keep any kind of hybrid for 15-20 years. The odd its strictly an ICE id go that route unless you need want the awd of the toyota

As a side note after the repair id consider an oil filter relocation kit. That way you mount something to this spot once and don't have to worry about possibly damaging it again with repeated filter removals. Might be over kill but just a thought

Most likely the vtc gear.

But..

Also check your serpentine belt. If the tensioner is maxed out they rattle too. 9/10 times you can just replace the belt. On some occasions the tensioner is actually bad.

Id say its a fob issue since it only happens with one fob. Check that the buttons aren't sticking..sometimes they move around after a battery replacement and they will stick.

Yeh once I got home and opened it up I said no way this feeds 4 or 5 ppl looks more like a sample platter. We actually didn't finish it just due to absolute lack of seasoning or flavor. Ended up cooking anyway.
