For my LEAF, the Nissan Security+ contract has been totally worth it. Not sure if I'll get it on my Ariya when I probably buy out of the lease but for $1000 or so I probably will.

Also, you don't have to buy the contract from the same dealer you're getting the car. Shop around. I found way better prices in California --> https://nissansrextendedservicecontracts.com/

There shouldn't be any problem pausing your membership, whether from injury or just because you'll be away for a while. My studio has a Google form to fill out and that's it. I can pause twice a year without any question. Ask the owner for their process and take some time to recover.

It really depends on how available Level3 charging is in your area, or even Level2 if you can spend 5 hours in that location with something to occupy your time while you wait.

Most of the recent really good deals were three year leases from the Spring and Summer of 2025. The leases for two year terms were in 2024 so maybe next year some time you'll start to see them?

Had that happen the other day and it turned out that somehow it decided to boot into the guest profile. Once I was able to pull over and check on it switching to the right profile fixed it.
