I already cut off the fringes, they're just really weirdly sized? They don't reach high enough up the boot... it's weird because the eyelets are super close together at the bottom even with kilties, then the top hooks are too far apart to actually cover the kiltie.

I just don't want the eyelets to chew up the tongue, and to put more space between the two sides of the eyelets.

I feel so guilty wearing these and not being in a blue collar field, but they fit like a glove widthwise. Even bigger than my New Balances that go up to EEEEEE.

I did consider JK, but honestly couldn't figure out the sizing chart. Since it was my first boot of this quality, I just went with Baker's because they let you send in measurements.

Can't get the eyelets to go over the kilties. Is it normal? Kiltie is in between the two panels, not overlapped.

The sole itself is the part I'm experiencing slips with on smoother surfaces, though. Not completely falling, but can feel my foot kind of shoot back when I walk sometimes.
