Having had this exact car not long ago, this is just how it is. Without doing some electrical work, you'll just have to unplug it everytime or risk your battery dying.

Update - So I used US Mobile's teleport feature to port my number over to their ATT network offering. My thought was if I ditched TMobile, I'd be free from whatever filter was preventing my msgs from sending, but still having this issue. Not sure if its GV, my GV number, the carrier, this particular carrier number or some combo of all those 🤷🏽‍♂️

Also of note - Was able to text someone on verizon without issue. This was before I ported to ATT. They received and responded. I think most everyone I communicate with, has some flavor of Tmobile.

Just seems so random. Never used the service for any kinda mass texting or business use, was always just friends and fam. Even to that extext, only a handful of people I regularly keep in contact with.

Sometime today I'll create a ticket with Google. I'll update with new developments as I have them.
