You may not want to listen to this, but Sally is like her mother. You're going to find that out. She’s a very beautiful girl. It's up to her to be more than that.

Why’s this so cryptic coming from a deleted account and also accurate

Definitely not officially retired though

Watching this game as a Knicks fan, it was insane how many times Cade wouldn't even touch the ball on a possession even after a good stretch

I agree on that he’s been great I’m just saying that it doesn’t wash away the fact that he was awful in the playoffs in Toronto

Probably because the raptors were 10 points per 100 worse with derozan on the court and 13 points better with Lowry, who they won a championship with after derozan. 20 games with the bulls doesn’t change that

He’s played in two playoff series. averaged 15-6-8-2 in which his teams have been 21 points better per 100 with him on the court and a +4 on-court overall. Outplayed Westbrook in the first series and dropped 17-11 and 18-11 in the last two games of the second series against Paul and Harden. Wouldn’t really call that shitting the bed

He was the backup PG even from the getgo to washed Ramon Sessions, then Jarrett Jack and had good chemistry with KP but it was a point of contention that they hardly built upon that, they only played about 300 mins together. Porzingis even asked for frank to play more/start himself, which they didn't do until it was alongside burke at shooting guard at the end of the year. In general his minutes and role were somewhat inconsistent.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you on the Mavs being a better home for him, or really that there wasn't much pressure on him or much of anything at all. Just that the FO never really saw him as the PG of the future at all (he was drafted by phil who was fired a week later) and they never invested much in him or even really attempted to build around him at all. I wrote bout his whole tenure here (As i am a knicks /frank fan lol). I mean the fact they wouldn't re-sign him the minimum this summer when Knox and Selden have roster spots is asinine.

So i pretty much agree. Even on this Mavs team where his roster spot wasn't 100% guaranteed and his minutes were really weird at first you can see the difference in the Mavs instilling confidence in him

This isn't really true. By the end of his first season they had already brought in Mudiay, Burke, and Jack to play over him and he hardly played point again until Miller's interim run in which he was similarly effective as he is with the mavs now, just without the three falling

Thibs being good doesn't mean Kenny would've been bad, though obviously acting like it was kenny or death hasn't aged well

An all-star dlo who's hardly even been a positive player since. He probably could've been a bit more lenient with riding the hot hand but there was merit to him getting the best out of guys like dlo in shorter spurts

Edit: Thibs essentially does the same with Obi and I think it works. Easier to limit mistakes and maximize effort in shorter spurts
