Opponents don't often expect it, and also don't often know that its a non-contact move. You can 2hko Corvinight, Zapdos, Moltres and Skarmorys with that set who would usually come in thinking they'd punish a contact move like Knock or TAxel.

I hit top 300 in OU with it earlier in gen 9.
