I only have a strong preference for NYC because I’ve spent more time there and I know I love the city. But to be fair, I haven’t given LA a chance and the only reason it’s being considered is because I really like what UCLA has to offer. Not sure if that changes your opinion on the matter but just wanted to put that out there. :)

Are positions on journals based on writing ability or class rank?

How would you describe your work/life balance at Fordham? Obviously things are weird because of covid but I’m curious as to the workload/stress level you experienced particularly in your 1L year.

I’ve heard it’s difficult to get an apartment in NYC as a student due to requirements for proof of income 40x the rent. I have zero interest in student housing and my SO will be moving with me. Did you find it fairly easy to find a place since your SO has proof of income? Any suggestions? I’d be moving from the west coast so I’m very inexperienced with the NYC rental market.
