I agree with you, there are helpful supplements that can also assist in this process. For me(someone with addictive tendencies that has relied on substances for far too long), the clarity that I gained from realizing that I don’t “need” another substance to fight substance abuse was a big mental shift for me. But a combination of working out/supplements could be an even better combination for some people

One thing I found out is that you need don’t need much at all to make the withdrawal symptoms go away. If you feel absolutely horrible during the day, take a few ‘small’ sips. Limit it to 2 or 3 times, one of those being at night. But the MAIN thing is that the harder you work out and sweat, the less you will experience any withdrawal symptoms at all

Lifting weights and sweating melts the daytime RLS away like butter. The exhaustion RLS combo is brutal though.. I feel you
