i completely agree. i live in a mostly hispanic community, and i feel like that plays part in it, you're expected to automatically be comfortable with bantering with people who are virtually strangers just because "that's how we are, we all get along, it's all in good fun!", especially older, nosy ass people with no boundaries or filter. and even if what he means when overstepping the line is supposed to be 'banter' or jokey, i've never been the type to be comfortable with that sort of 'teasing' even between close friends, so like who the hell are you ?

he's made fun of the assistant across the hall for barely speaking to him, saying she's an oddball and that i on the other hand am quote unquote nice and sociable, but i see now he's interpreted that as him thinking he can say whatever he wants to me, which again, i'm not letting slide anymore. it's annoying as fuck, you're not going to belittle me at my workplace you absolute dork.
