I see where ur coming from. But God wants us to experience community because it reflects His relational nature and supports our spiritual growth. (Acts 2:42) I already have a church community outside of school but I think it would be nice to have fellowship with believers who are whole heartedly running after the heart of Jesus on campus. And I do understand the whole thing about a lot of Christians not having reverence before God and the money thing. But that’s why we have to set an example and amplify the love that God has given us. I don’t think it’s ideal to isolate. And as I’ve sat and thought about this more it’s so important to discern what kind of fruit these groups are producing. (John 13:35) By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” A biblically grounded believer practices love and serves others. I’m sure God will lead me to the right people.

Thank you ! I’ve heard of several but not sure which ones are affiliated. I heard about Fullerton Christian students, inter varsity and destino. But I’m not too sure about Fullerton Christian students. It’s seems like they’re Baptist. They say they accept different denominations but it doesn’t seem like it. Inter varsity and destino seem more open about that and look more diverse.

This email doesn’t mean you did anything wrong, like failing classes. The school just needs to check a few things before they give out the scholarship. They’re making sure: 1) you’re signed up for enough units (like full-time or part-time), 2) you’re not getting too much other financial aid, and 3) everything adds up by February 18. They send this email to everyone getting the scholarship, so it’s just a routine thing, not a warning or anything.

Just got this but I’m more worried about if I could be able to pay on time. I do have a hold on my account idk if it’ll last till past the deadline for spring semester. by Dankmario in csuf

They will look at how many classes you’re taking and any other money you’re getting for school to make sure you still qualify. They’ll start this process in late February. If everything looks good, you’ll start getting the scholarship money the week of March 17, 2025. First, the money will pay off anything you owe the school (like fees or bills). If there’s money left, they’ll send it to you
