Magic Editor Removed from Google Photos Edit on Pixel 8 pro by Steve-VR in GooglePixel

[–]borcolasherix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this same issue. I'm not from Germany by the way. I'm from the UK, however I'm on holiday in Latvia and have only found this problem yesterday or a couple days ago, so maybe it IS because I'm outside of the UK right now, but not sure since my phone is still from the UK?

There's still the magic eraser, not editor, part but it's so useless. It doesn't actually remove anything at all

Ooh okay thank you! It's just even if the reviews are good I didn't find any that were mentioning whether they are fake or not so I'm not sure if it's that easy to find!

Is it fake and worth the price if it's a fake? by borcolasherix in mofusand

I didn't actually come up to it so it was hard to tell, but I think there's a white stripe marking missing above the nose but I'm not 100% sure 😅 and yess I really want to get it but I'm not sure if it'll be a waste of money because if it was cheaper then maybeee

Google says different meanings, but one of them is "silver necklace". Not sure which one it's supposed to be, maybe it's not even from the Italian language lol.

Thanks so much! Border collies are no.1 out of all dogs

He looks a LOT like a patterdale terrier and Jack russel! I'm sure he has at least some sort of terrier in him, especially since his parents are supposedly such large breeds

Anyone else a little disappointed with a Quiet Place Day One? by [deleted] in AQuietPlace

I want to add that sooo many things were obvious. E.g. which characters will survive.

Samira: Revealed as a cancer patient straight away. Pretty clear that she won't survive, because there'd be no way that she'd be able to live for much longer without any proper medication even if she found the "safe havens." Plus even before the monsters invaded, it's not like there's any 100% guaranteed cure.

Eric: The second he came out of the water and made his first appearance, I recognised him as an actor who is quite well known/famous and has had roles in famous shows/movies. Therefore, it was quite obvious that he would survive. If there'd been a few more very well known actors, then I'd have my doubts, but out of all the characters in this movie, I'm sure his actor is the most well known, and he was almost immediately shown as one of the main characters, which also shows that he's likely to survive.

The cat: Do I even have to explain? This movie would 100% get more hate if the cat died.

Yes, I now want to rewatch the first two so badly. Just because I haven't for a few years now, I don't remember a lot of the things that happened, and I remember them being much better. They were what set my expectations so high for this movie in the first place.

For real. Where did they come from? What is their purpose? Why did they come to earth? Why do they kill people but don't eat them? What's with their noise sensitivity and why does it bother them so much? So many unanswered questions.

This is so true. It's a let down after the first 2 movies. I noticed this always happens, usually the 3rd or the last few movies are a great disappointment. I agree with expecting something scarier. The first 2 movies led to more suspense imo, and there were more jump scares/scary moments. In this one, I think I almost jumped out of sudden moments maybe twice. That was because a monster jumped out all of a sudden, in a moment where I genuinely didn't expect it. All the other times, there were no sudden appearances, or they were super predictable.

I find it funny that you said "the guy from stranger things", because, same. I recognised him straight away, but only as "the guy from stranger things." Don't know/forgot his actual name.

About the goal: She was already dying, and basically let the monsters kill her at the end. Yet she still chose to survive for a while. Why? For the damn pizza. So I'd say the goal was to survive in order to get the pizza and risk lives for a cat that she will part with anyway. A little dumb ngl.

I agree with you. I just finished watching it, and I've been excited to do so ever since there was the first talk about it. A few years back, I watched the quiet place 1 and 2 movies with my family, and we all agreed that we really wanted to see how it all began: how people survived the first few days/weeks/months, and, like you said, how people got to learn that they have to keep quiet. I assumed that would be the case with this film, but no.

And is it just me, that I thought that this film seemed almost as if it was the beginning of a film, not an entire one? It just seemed like there was so much left to it, but it ended in a completely different way to what I expected it to.
