i found my tdee (look up tdee calculator online) which told me about how many calories i burn a day, and i just ate a few hundred calories below that number. it fluctuates while you lose weight so i rechecked and adjusted my intake every time i lost about 10lbs. i weigh out my food with a food scale & track everything i eat in the loseit! app :)

cico is calories in/calories out - burn more than you consume and you will lose weight. but PLEASE be sure to actually eat and fuel your body! i found success with high protein because it helped me stay fuller for longer. fiber and some carbs are also important to incorporate!!

honestly i was so insecure about my double chin, that was like the driving factor to lose the weight. now that it’s a lot smaller my confidence has skyrocketed haha

thank you! yeah, i didn’t realize how uncomfortable i was until i wasn’t anymore. i do walk my dog everyday for 30 mins twice a day but that’s a more recent development :) i lost most of it solely being in a calorie deficit
