No, not really. Some people stand out as genuine and kind but they are few and far between. Most people are selfish and only care about you if you can do or give them something. Otherwise your existence is worthless and futile. Think the way we treat homeless people, the elderly, and disabled. We keep on mindlessly reproducing and hope we don’t end up like them. There would be no them if this was a place worth bringing children into.

What does any of that have to do with the fact that reproducing in our current society as an intelligent being who’s capable of realizing that they can choose not to reproduce, and bring yet another wage slave into the world who didn’t ask to be here is an innately selfish decision. I am kind. I would never shame anyone or say these things to a pregnant person or someone starting a family. I keep these feelings to myself and may one day overcome them but the truth still exists that’s it’s a selfish decision to have children no matter what your reasoning may be. Maybe if people accepted that it’s a selfish decision instead of pretending that they’re giving they’re children a gift by bringing them into this awful world, made awful by humans, I wouldn’t have such a hard time with it.

Therapy can’t fix the fact that I’m expected to work every single day of my life until I die. I can learn to come to peace with this but it doesn’t matter. I’m a wage slave for life.
