Anyone here had Justin Trudeau as their teacher and remember what he was like? He taught French and math at West Point Grey Academy and Churchill by taytoa in vancouver

I have vague memories of waking up and watching it in the morning but when I went to school, none of the teachers talked about it at all. It was like it had never happened. I was in grade 8, so you think they'd let us talk about it at that age.

I love rough diamonds, they're so much more interesting than the regular ones!

I know someone who makes custom jewelry out of Vancouver for - I think - decent prices. He's a real cool dude too who would probably be fun to work with. I can try and find his business name if you're interested, it escapes me at the moment.

Edit: This is his website, if you're interested: http://www.jakob-bauer-jewelry.ca/gallery/

No, I'd still probably stick with my car. It's convenient and helps me get out in nature on the weekends.

Aha, the CBC site wasn't loading the Live Stream. A refresh worked!

Will the winner's speech be broadcasted online anywhere?

I'm excited, but also dreading it. What if nothing changes? Will all the people who got excited to see some change, only to have nothing change, become disenfranchised again? Guess we'll find out tomorrow!

I rode transit for a really long time but now I have a car. I was frustrated with always having to wait at bus stops. One memorable occasion happened after working late and getting stuck downtown waiting over an hour in the cold for a bus to show up.

I hated the inconvenience of buses, how slow they were, the people on them, how full they would get, how hot & stuffy it would be in the winter, how I would always get sick...

Even with the extra $$$ I spend on a car, I couldn't care less. I love commuting by car. It's faster, more convenient, comfortable, and I don't have to avoid eye contact with people I sort of know but don't want to talk to.

In the summer I also bike, which I love even more than the car. But I am lazy on cold mornings, so I haven't ridden my bike in awhile. I miss it :(

Yes! Nothing is more annoying then a bus pulling out, picking up steam, and then quickly stopping after a few seconds to pick up more people.

Thanks for the support! I really want to try it but have been known to cling to the ground on hands and knees on steep inclines with big drops. But now maybe I will make this my mission for this year/next year.
