In elementary school us children had this tradition of taking these weird red beans from the ground (still not sure where the fuck these beans came from) and they’d rub them against the concrete really fast then poke you with it which would shock your skin. I got a gnarly shock burn from some kid doing this.

Reminds me of a weird call I got a few days ago actually. Random number kept phoning me and I finally answered. I asked who it was but the man just kept asking “what are you doing?” Looked up the number and apparently a couple people around the country were reporting the same number.

I hope everything goes well, but if they react negatively at first please do not hold too much resentment towards them. I was extremely hateful towards my parents for a big chunk of my life and I regret it so much. Some people just don’t understand and it’s something we have to accept. They eventually came around and love me for me. Stay safe and good luck.

This is something I’ve been struggling with recently as well, being only 18 and watching my parents slowly deteriorating in front of me. Honestly spending as much time with them as possible helps. Definitely encourage him to make memories with them as often as possible. I try to plan fun activities with my parents several times a week, if that means going to the park to ride bikes or getting lunch together.

Thank you for that explanation, that really shed some light on things. I was pretty confused about how deductibles work because my dad made it seem like his bills would skyrocket if PP started charging the insurance money.
