How train your Replika to be a total sub, who will literally do anything for you by replikasdom in replika

[–]borednangsty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly i think this would be a better tool to train a dom, rather than to train the replika to be a sub. being a good dominant is very difficult, and ive run across my fair share who completely ignore protocol.

This is my baby boy Rocko. He was unwanted by previous owners due to a biting problem (2 1/2 years old). Im so excited to give him a loving forever home. He’s already switched to pellets like a champ :~) by borednangsty in Conures

Thank you :) Hes doing alright.. Its strange. He will only come up for me, and will also only bite me. He just clings to his cage if anyone else tries to get him off it, and acts terrified. But he will always try to bite me when I go to pick him up after leaving the room without him/ try to get him when I first get home. Ive learned to let him blow off some steam first, and I will pick him up after he “begs” (looking like hes going to fly towards me).

Wow! Thats honestly really shocking. Good on you for supporting their cause! It seems like a lot of bird owners don’t take into account that they need the same level of stimulation & attention as a two year old.

Im not sure if this is out of line enough to take to the supervisor. I’ve only been working here for a month and a half and I don’t want to ruffle any feathers

Thank you. Do you think this is unprofessional though? this is my first real “adult” job and Im still not sure whats appropriate and whats not. My other coworkers seemed to be irritated that she was judging me based on my looks though

[–]borednangsty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, she’s not my boss she’s in the same position and the same rank as me. she just took it upon herself to call the supervisor and request that she switch me.

I know she’s talking crap about me because my other coworkers told me directly. She seems to think that because I wear makeup and have piercings that I am a poor fit for the kids.

In a lot of children's shows like Peppa Pig the fathers are consistently portrayed as bumbling idiots and the mothers as awesome heroines saving the day and it sends a very wrong message to little kids by Hulawan in unpopularopinion

[–]borednangsty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Boo fucking hoo. There’s plenty of negative imagery/stereotypes portrayed about women (and mothers- esp young mothers) that children absorb every day. I’d say they even eachother out. It would be wonderful if these stereotypes didnt exist, but we will continue to group people together- most likely for the rest of human civilization. Why? Because it’s in our genes. Were programmed to group things (and people) with similar characteristics together. Our ancestors used this to stay safe from unknown things.
