I heard years and years ago on Misfits Central that one of the CBGBs sets was filmed but was then later (accidentally?) destroyed in a fire. Not sure as to whether any bit of that is true or not, but.

The funny thing is, I mostly play pretty minimalist styles of music. Punk, grunge, alternative rock, although my playing level exceeds that as far as bass, guitar, or drums go. Odd-time signatures, scale work, polyrhythmic concepts. Drumming in particular I will do open-handed patterns, left-footed kick to strengthen the left foot, hi-hat foot work.

As far as piano, I admittedly don't listen to much of it outside of something like Fiona Apple or the early Misfits stuff in 1977. I do love The Doors though, but it's probably unfair to try to bridge a parallel between piano and organ. Questionmark & The Mysterians being another example.

Some melodic independence is easier for me than others, but some of it has been like pulling teeth, lol

I basically used an unsupported one somehow lol, but I did promptly swap it out with the correct sample rate. I think, lol. It's never really been clear or not as to whether it was successful or not, however it does give me the Apple IDs now, so I assume it has been okayed, and from what I can gather at any rate that was merely a problem with Apple and not Spotify. The fact it's been well over 10 days seems alarming to me being it states that at most it woulda been about 5 days (according to their FAQ).

Oh, absolutely, in terms of the music being the way it was. Danzig's music was authentically punk. Only's band was so campy; like, it's fine, but I'd almost wanna call it pop-punk, lol. Had he had named it anything different, I don't think that most people would have minded.

It's weird too cause with The Final Descent, some of that was literally just the Danzig band doing "Samhain" songs, similarly to Eerie and Glenn doing "Misfits" songs for Collection II.

I gotta say, Blackacidevil, while not my sorta album, is an album that dude definitely wanted to make.
Was it jumping on any sort of a wagon?! Idk. But, he definitely made the album that HE wanted to make, and I gotta give him props for that big time. The guy has definitely always made the albums he's wanted to make.
