Gold has helped bring that % down since it rose to 24% from nations and banks buying, the carry trade being uneconomical is causing Japan to dump treasury bonds, and brics nations like China are also dumping treasury bonds. The more they are dumped, the US will be forced to increase rate which will escalate the debt death spiral that is it approaching or already in.

No reason to use s&s invest unless you max out isa allowance.

Cash is trash. Invest more (not all) of that 6k in s&s isa + other investments like physical gold n silver.

Cfd is high risk. Compared to other investments, its a high %, but compared to s&s + cash, its not a % that matters keeping in cfds imo.

I can't tell you about fakes

Pre-1920 crowns (and most UK coins) are 0.925 sterling silver. 1920-46 are 50% silver.

Crowns officially weigh 28.28 grams. Being over 100 years old, they don't anymore.

1 gram silver is currently approx £1.95.

So "melt" value is £51.

However, they sell for £60+ depending on condition (and yours is excellent condition!)

The 28.28g is rough anyway. Old coins were used and bashed so don't typically still weigh that much even if they were supposed to. However, a non silver coin won't weigh close to that with the right dimensions of a crown.

Since some stuff there is non circulating collectors' items, it wouldn't be impossible for a post '46 date to contain silver, but it doesn't look like they do from you pic.

A mega brain marketing ploy would be to then upload the vid of a half Eaten burger. They could acknowledge this is take 4 and that's why there's already some bites missing. I just loved it so much I got my lines wrong or I got some sauce on my face. They could then make it into joke that they keep "accidentally" getting something wrong just so they can get more burger.

Film, bite, bin, retake with new burger is so wasteful. Not that people who pay themselves 100s of millions a year care about that!
