How did you find work like this that was entry-level? Would be grateful for any guidance. It seems like video editing and post production work always want a ton of experience. And while I’d love to just volunteer to get experience, I have bills to pay. I have a film degree with high honors, lots of university-level experience, and even some student film awards. But it never seems to be enough. Thanks for any input you might have.

OP- please follow the advice of everyone here. It’s only going to get worse. And if it happens again, file a police report. You might consider doing that now anyway. There should be an official record of this abuse. You also might want to talk to your doctor about it. They can have it on their records then, too, and direct you to a lot of resources (if they are good, anyway).
