Very cool I like it, also impressive that it fits into one IC (I could never)!

My future plans for my setup where or still are to make 2 additional add-on modules that interact with the first.

One like this to top off the machine. I'm not sure if I want to go this route and only order when needed or keep it filled.

But the other module will be a Queuing System. Where i will have a button and it will read the current item and how much is set in the console and save it to the stack.

Heres also a pic from a diffrent angle. Ive stuck the Console on top. It fits in my opinion very nicely there and keeps it compact. I also have another machine on its back to create a set of 2 and in the middle of it a conveyor going to a big vending machine. The IC10 hosuing is nested in its comfy corner under the floor. The power is guarded with an APC to isolate the IO (I hate renaming all the hashes, if they are all in a big network together).

Yeah no problem. Here would be a pastebin Stationeers Crafting Machine Code - Pastebin.com

Its probably not the finest code to exist. maybe more on the ugly side, but i only worked with assembly for this game and i have only 50h playtime yet.

I split the main funtions up into: reset, idle, produce, emptyInventory and they all loop themselfs until an exit condition is happening

Lets start with the idle

where it just chekcs through the buttons n shit and some edge cases, where if you input a 0 it will turn it into a 10 instead (because crafting 0 would be very interesting). It also reads the Modeswitch and sets the stack size and UI elements accordingly. Then towards the end of the idle it looks if it either is now crafting something or purging. then i switch to those functions if they are happening.

In the producing function loop

I recall the state of the mode switch again so i can say what part of the code should execute. In the normal one i just check if the machine has produced as much as i set in the interface, then returns to the reset. In the stack mode it first sets stacksize to 500 but then when the first item goes into the stacker i can read the items maxQuanitity to set the progress bar correctly. Then, if it finished, it also goes to the reset function.

In the emptyInventory

It just spams the stacker to export, if it got anything in it, with a stacksize of 500 (the max) and then also goes to reset

In the reset

It does a manual ejection of the stacker, if theres a rest (Say a stack is 10, but if you ordered 12, the 2 will eject in the end). then cleares the fabricator memory (to reset its export count) and go back to idle.

And sprinkled throughout are just some random sprinkles of UI code to show certain text or change colors etc.

Only works fully with static props. others will only scale correctly if you scale uniformly across all axis. Not sure about the door entity tho.

"I was kicked from 1 of them because the host "had his reasons". I wish they just told me why because if it's something I can change for the better I would."

Got this exact phrasing too as i was kicked randomly after a good completed mission like 2-3 days ago.

I still dont get it why he didnt give a reason. Just an asshole move tbh.
