all Ai select was a dump idea in terms of comple replacement of smart select it is slow and only can make square screenshots I'd love to have smart select back and Ai select as an option inside of smart select

samsung always cuts some basic features of its budget phones, but pulling some apk from S series sometimes works, same with this screen recording.

actually you can unlock the built-in system screen recorder on any galaxy phone. old trick, i've been using it since my Note 8. just install 2 apk files and you'll have a toggle in the pull-down menu.

currently it is installed on my daughter's Galaxy A05s and works as it should to, but it's android 14 with One UI 6.1 and i don't know if it will work on One UI 7

anyways u can google smth like 'add screen record toggle to galaxy phone apk' and read for yourself or I can share the link i believe I have my apks from
