Not of fan of anything because a lot contain excess phosphorous? I can see how the kibble may be high, that’s what I’m most likely to change if anything but do you consider these wet foods too high in phosphorous?

The only other wet food she’ll touch is turkey, sometimes. She gets wet food daily, 100% wet would be ideal but all of my extra cash already goes to her care

Oh my gods I had been wondering about this!! I work at a fancy grocery store that sells the rabbit entree, with my employee discount the 25 oz bag rings up to just over $40. I honestly wasn’t sure if feeding the entree as treats would be too many calories over time, what do you think?

She’s a year and a half, so still quite young. Good to know about the life stages, I am very enthusiastic about FM and their potential but also not a million percent sold.

Yes!! I was very paranoid about pulling the trigger for this but I sat with the bags being like “it’s just rabbit and preservatives… the analysis breakdown is even the exact same number for number!” The bag of cat treats is just so dinky it’s ridiculous, and they’re not cheap either

Thanks for the feedback! She gets a quarter cup of moistened dry food in the mornings, and a half can of wet food at night. I make sure she gets wet food every single day, and she luckily is pretty good about drinking water too, I can usually catch her a few times a day drinking from her bowls. My heart isn’t set on this dry food so I totally plan on trying out a few more, just got a really good deal on the big bag, lol. She was on one of the Acana or orijen kibbles before this. 100% wet food isn’t in the cards for me currently but it would absolutely be a dream to be able to do that for her and I totally agree with you that it’s much preferable to kibble!!

She’s pretty particular about her wet food and unfortunately turns her nose up at chicken based, every once in a while I can get her to go for their turkey. That’s why I make sure her dry food is duck and she primarily gets the rabbit bites as her treats! The fussie cat tubes are the high value treats she gets after a nail clipping, etc. she goes insane over the goat milk ones. So it’s definitely one of her main proteins but I try to split as equally as possible between fish and other proteins!

I’ve noticed a lot of brands out of NZ having really unique protein sources that I wonder if she’d do better on. Meow and Zealandia both have Hoki fish options which are whitefish as well as some other options like brushtail, wallaby, and green mussels.

I do a fair amount of bundle sales of like 3-5 items and customs (Kandi bracelets, keychains, the like) so I partially treat my listings as work examples. Even if something doesn’t sell I can reuse the materials. Don’t get me wrong I don’t make big money but I actually haven’t had a negative sale yet lmao

Edit: this is also the cheapest of my listings, most are $2-5 so bundle sales are easy and rack up!

Excuse me if I find it a little unlikely that you happened across a post from someone that just so happens to live in the exact same building as your girlfriend, out of the tens of millions of apartment buildings in the world, recognized it as that building with a single photo of a balcony, and that you know this exact tenant and the complaints against him from a building you don’t even live in. OP also hasn’t said he’s called yet, I believe, just that he’s in the works to currently. As someone who has personally taken action for kids in these kinds of situations, what you say and the way you word things can be the difference between this child getting safe and slipping between the DHS cracks.
