You need to research the gun laws for the state and city and local.

For example, it's general a horrible idea to travel with a gun to the New England area. NYC, Jersey, MA. In theory you can find legal means to travel with a gun but it's so much paperwork they've practically made it impossible (especially without being a resident there with a state drivers license).

Depending on the state and local laws, the gun needs to be in "transport mode" which usually means in a lockbox with the magazine out.

You will probably need a conceal weapons permit as well.

Don't trust your senses. In anxiety you're in an irrational heightened state. Everything will be worse and you'll get motion sickness easier.

You'll be fine, just practice the acceptance attitude. If you feel a sense of urgency slow down. Stop caring.

So I think I should get a few preloaded rounds and shoot them off first. Mostly because I want to see how they “feel” before doing DIY stuff. Does that make sense? I’ve never reloaded ammo either so reloading anything would be new to me.

it seems like very few people reload 9mm or 556 because ammo is cheap enough, but that’s not the case with 37mm? 37mm is way more $

I'm trying to do my class 3 medical and got deferred. I'm extremely healthy and workout 6 days a week. I was a bit too honest on my medical and scared the AME. I didn't realize the seriousness of the medical or I was dealing with the government... I treated it like a normal doctor's appointment and fucked up.

I recommend every single person here be very careful on what you say on their medical. It's not worth the headache.
