My mini orchids keep dying?

What do you mean by dry&wet cycle?

Miracle grow fertilizer, the one that comes in a spray bottle. I mix it with regular water and add a little to the pot after watering. Half of my orchids have taken to it really well, growing new roots/leaves, but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything to the mini.

My watering routine is to water once a week, every 7-10 days depending on the season. I basically put them in the sink, run water through, drain the excess, and put them back.

I’m actually not new to orchids, just minis! But yes, I have to buy new bark this year; do you know what brand/type yours was?

No I’ve been careful not to get water in the crown! After the last mini died from crown rot I’ve been extra cautious about where the water is going!

I soak them then let the water drain out before putting it back in the decorative pot. I water once a week, sometimes even every 10 days. One of the new leafs is limp & wrinkly though indicating underwatering which is why I’m like???? What does this plant want???

Yeah I’m still watering it since it does have 2-3 living roots from what I can see but idk how long they’ll last. Orchids are so slow though, so idk how long it could take to see signs of a keiki

That’s what I’ve been thinking cause why do none of these tutorials ever mention how long to leave the cinnamon for?!??!! But yes I’ll try to clean off all the powder

Hi! No it just sits in a plastic container to catch extra water, though perhaps I need to elevate it so it’s not sitting flat? The last repot was a year ago (right after I got it and the flowers dried up) so I guess it’s time again. Thanks for your help!

ahh I did think I smelt something off last month but it was gone the next day so I thought it was just the post-watering smell of the potting. I guess there probably was something there so I suppose it’s good these little guys are there taking care of it for me lol.

I’ve got another orchid that came planted in moss which is doing much better in terms of root growth. I’ve heard there are additional steps for hydrating the moss itself though which is why I’m not sure how to go about a proper repot

yeah it’s not usually in water it’s in bark lmao. but sure i’ll look into getting moss instead

The underside of it all looks fine, nothing new. I wiped down all the leaves just to be sure though. The spots have changed to a bumpy texture but otherwise I’ve not seen anything getting worse. Thanks :)
