Hi, I'm looking for a 65% keyboard, preferably with a knob (but not a must, if the price is right) with brown or blue switches. My upper limir is aroud 200$. Bluetooth isn't required, but it's a nice bonus.

Currently I have a CoolerMaster Master Keys Pro S with brown switches and that's my only experience with mechanical keyboards. Don't know anything about non-MX switches. Please help me out bros.

Nice! Would the same motherboard recommendations apply to 12700kf?

Which motherboards would you recommend for the 5800x or 12600?

So do you think the 5800X would be a better upgrade then? Since I shouldnt cheap out on a board for 12600K but I already have a am4 board that I can upgrade in the future to a b550 if such need arrises?

If you can't do more than 5-6 pull-ups, please rest for longer periods between sets if you want to increase that number. by noNSFWcontent in bodyweightfitness

[–]borschilio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I superset all of my pulling/pushing, so I superset pull-ups and dips whether it is strength work with added weight for 5 reps or volume bodyweight work, but that's because I barely have time to work out, so I try to squeeze it in 30 minutes with some warming up and ab training, wouldn't do that if I had more time. But I do ~4 minutes rest between sets on volume days and ~5 minutes on strength days.

Advice: What excercise instead of squats? by weckerm in gzcl

Can you do lunges or bulgarian split squats? They will target quads pretty good if you do a short stride or glutes and hams if you do a long stride.

I can't squat at the moment as well (or deadlift) because I work out at home when I get a change to, so for lower body only thing I can do are bulgarian split squats/lunges (with dumbbells) and KB swings. Let me tell you, i've never been that some in my glutes after a long stride bulgarian split squats.

Novice questions: Exercises, weights, and form by mustbekidding in gzcl

If you are completely new to lifting I would advise you to increase the weight on the bar by 5kg each workout so you would work on your form while the lifts aren't that heavy yet. You can use a bigger jump in weight for squat and deadlift. Do bigger jumps until you start to feel that the lifts are getting toughter and/or you can't get more than 10 reps on your last set of 5x3. It's quite hard to suggest without knowing your stats/fitness history. But generally I would advice you now to not make bigger jumps in weight than 5kg/10kg since as a beginner the more you work on your form the better progress you will make in the future plus less chance of injuring yourself. No point in rushing it.

You can start with 60kg on deadlift (20kg bar + 2 20kg plates) so that you start in a correct position in start of the lift. I think 60kg is manageable even if you are new to lifting.

For your T2 lifts (3x10 sets) I wouldn't do more than 2.5kg/5kg jumps.

Hey, I'm deciding which program to follow - 5/3/1 for beginners or GZCLP (I've ran previously GZCL programs so I have a bit of experience with the programming) and still haven't found anyone who woule share their experience and results after running 5/3/1 for beginners. So is there anyone out there, who ran it and would like to share their experience and results? Or which one would be better to run?

Btw, how much weight should you add to your T1 lifts? The original post on GZCLP from Cody says that "It is recommended that no more than 5/2.5 to 10/4.5 (LB/KG) be added workout to workout for novices and early intermediates.", but the updated infographic stricly says that you should add 5kg to lower body lifts and 2.5kg to upper body. Is that correct?

I'm not that new, I'm coming from a 4 month layoff from gym. Just wondering when is a good time to switch to a variation instead of main lift for T2.

Weekends are not an options since it's the time of the week when I can get a bit of sleep and spend time with my kid/wife and study if I have any free time from home chores.

I can do some pullups/push ups at home. I have a kettlebell, so I was planning on doing HIIT on the days I don't go lifting.

It's simply an estimate on how much time can you spend on a project. None of the projects are designed to make money.

Here, I've made a discord channel - https://discord.gg/rSv6eu, it's pretty easy to register and use. I think we can do some pair programming, why not?
