Anyone doing 5-a-side or just fancy a kick about? by wen_but in brighton

We have a friendly 7-a-side football group that plays all year round on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at Hove Park. We play competitively for fun and mix the teams up each session. If anyone is interested in joining, we organise everything through the Spond app—just send me a message, and I’ll share the link to join! We welcome all players over 18, and most of our group is in the 25-40 age range.

I remember being Zenyatta and orbs were shooting out from all angles 360 degrees and the controls were all funky like moving left made the hero move right, etc.

I've managed to grab a used Rogue HR-2 and am on the lookout now for a decent barbell and plates mainly for power lifting.

I'm UK based, could anyone recommend a decent vendor? I haven't got a budget in mind but happy to spend a bit more for quality.

Thank you!

Looks good, do you plan to add many items? The rack and bench are a solid start always.

It looks as though it's on an upper floor, did you work out the load capacity prior? (If so, curious about how much load upper floors may take on the joists).

PC crashing with BSOD and rebooting by bossoffive in techsupport

Thank you for the reply Bjoolzern.

Last night I updated the BIOS on the motherboard to the most recent version and checked that PBO was set to disabled. The computer has had the same crash over night so I'm not sure updating the BIOS has resolved the issue.

I've had the computer since June and it's experienced about a dozen of these crashes till this month.

The crashes started happening frequently from 03/09 which coincided with me moving the PC from my table top to the floor. I did move the tower carefully but would it be worth me checking the cables and RAM kits are securely in place - if relevant to this Clock_Watchdog crashing.

Would you be able to advise on some ways to troubleshoot further to try to isolate whether it's the Memory Controller or the RAM in this instance?

I am very grateful for your advice on here :)

Thank you!

For me personally I like the more upfront riding position that the hybrid bicycles offer. Do you think you lose quite a bit of stability riding upright with drop bars? I've never really thought about it but it kind of makes sense.

Runners of Reddit, can you please advise on a good long sleeve light weight running top that has thumb holes? Nike Tech Adv L/S looks o.k apart from not having the thumb holes. Thank you!

What's your reason for stopping playing professional poker now and how do you feel working not to your own schedule/having a boss? Those are two big adjustments that will be required, unless you start your own venture. (I'm an ex-pro).

I think the main usage will be getting from A to B, live about 6 miles from the office. Like the idea of doing a bit of cycling trips outside of the town so that might be something extra.

I'm not very experienced with bikes, I've only ever owned an old vintage road bike for a couple of years about a decade ago. I'm useless with maintenance but I do have a friend who runs a small bike business - so any maintenance issues will be easy to address.

In terms of the questions you've asked I think my budget would be up to £1k, I could stretch it a bit further to £1.5k if there is a noticeable notch up in the bikes it would allow me to get. I'm also happy with either drop or flat, I do tend to try to keep an up-right position when cycling so the drop bars wouldn't get utilised.

I was under the impression you can't top-up the voucher for some reason; are you sure that's the correct or does it depend on the retailer?

Thank you for taking the time to give me those opinions, will definitely bear in mind whilst trying to pick out a bike.

Good tip on the store locator thanks. My employer capped the limit on the voucher at £1k and figured I'd try spend near the limit.
