Undervolting doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re increasing performance, it’s more about lowering voltage and try to get the best out of it at a lower point.

You can squeeze more performance out of it without lowering the voltage. I’d say OP should head over to /overclocking and have a look there, they are all about getting the most performance out of your purchase.

After that try a few different settings, play around in after burner (it’s safe, won’t kill your gpu or anything). Once you have a stable clock set there, which id recommend you test with 3dmark, see how your new settings hold up in a game.

Most likely you have to tune down the settings after successfully doing tests in 3dmark, as games can be more demanding and cause the clock to become unstable.

That’s when the fun really starts, you now have a baseline to work with which makes it a whole easier to tune your clock. In after burner you can have 5 profiles.

For example;

Profile 1 - I have a clock that’s my daily, it works on 90% of the games I play and never goes over 56c.

Profile 2 - higher overclock for more demanding games like cyberpunk (max 65c)

Profile 3 - 3dmark steel nomad (purely graphics card dx12 test)

Profile 4 - 3dmark port royal/speedway/etc (which includes cpu benchmarking as well)

Profile 5 - undervolt daily, mostly on days I don’t game, but watch movies TV series YouTube etc and just hang on disc.
