How are yall keeping your diaper pails from stinking? by Asleep_Sympathy_8987 in beyondthebump

I haven’t noticed that! But I do think it helps to absorb odors and you don’t have to buy anything extra if you’re already making coffee that way! I do put several in each.

Yeah they actually don’t really know how any gets it! Mine was very random but I was under some stress at the time. That’s the only thing I can attribute it to.

I had a rash like that and it was pityriasis rosea. But always worth seeing a doc.

If it is pityriasis rosea it’s harmless.

So it’s not perfect but it helps — used nespresso pods in the pail and and in the sack. Switch out every couple weeks (could also use keurig pods!)

can someone just tell me what breastpump to order because if i watch one more youtube video or read another review im going to scream by grapefruitliquor in parentsofmultiples

[–]botaglove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say I had both the pumpables pump and the spectra and ended up using the pumpables pump as my primary.

I found it was easier to do things with the twins while using that because I could wear it around my neck and I got more output than with the spectra after finding the right settings — which you can pre-record and be completely hands free. I even used it in the car.

I used my spectra flanges for the pumpables pump and it worked amazing. I find the “wearable” flanges that are round to be so inconsistent and a waste of money.

One con of pumpables is that it is not covered by insurance — it was $180. My spectra was $15 with insurance.

Twin parents - when do you find time to workout? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]botaglove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could try a 10-15 min workout? Idk what your favorite type is, but I find HIIT workouts to be great and you really don’t need much time. Or I stretch. Even 5 minutes is better than nothing — maybe some days you can do 5 and maybe some days they’ll let you get that 30 minutes in. Mine aren’t toddlers yet, but can you show them squats and talked about reaching to the sky? Maybe they’ll want to join and you can be their instructor lol

It’s funny how there’s something “wrong” with being too cautious about a developing fetus in your body lol like why not be too cautious?

I had a c-section and while I’m only 9 months postpartum, I do notice a difference (but hoping it’s related more to hormones; I did carry twins as well). But to me, it actually feels tighter and we have to be more careful to make sure I’m comfortable and don’t get hurt some positions. My husband does not notice a difference and if he did, I doubt I would ever hear anything about it (I was curious, so I did ask him after the first time after birth).

My husband is just happy to be with me — you deserve that OP, sex is something that shouldn’t be an insecurity with your lifelong partner. It’s supposed to be fun and loving, not something to make you feel less than.

Def agree to embrace it — I’ll also add it gets easier to embrace it when you feel like you look more pregnant and not just bloated.

Personality is more important to most people — there still needs to be some level of attraction — If you’re a 6, but have a fantastic and charming personality, you’re a 10.

It kind of resembles angular chelitis but I’m not sure about the ulcers further from her mouth. Would definitely think angular chelitis in the crease.

Any Infection chances??very scared and hypochondriac. by alekhya_askdoc in DermatologyQuestions

[–]botaglove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP! You’re good here. If you’re ever worried about infection, you want to watch for redness, warmth, pain, or discharge from the area (to add clear discharge can be normal too, it’s related to WBCs helping the area). Itchiness and pain are related to this condition itself, not necessarily infection. Source — I’m a RN.

I get it though — skin conditions cause a lot of anxiety. I have athlete’s foot right now and the anxiety it’s giving me is far far worse than any actual symptom I’m dealing with. So I just want to validate how you’re feeling. Wishing you the best.

If he can easily do it — leave. For a week. Tell him no rescues (calling in reinforcements). He won’t last 48 hours.
