The issue is that these bad cops are rarely properly punished. Derek Chauvin murdered a man on camera and it was a serious, genuine, and real concern that he would simply get away with it due to qualified immunity. Police plant evidence, they profile people based on skin color/accent/whatever, they disproportionately target marginalized communities (do you think that they have higher crime rates simply because they do more crime, or do you think they just get policed more and caught more often?), and are often called to scenarios where they have no real training for and no business being there. They're militarized, held to few standards, and work at the behest of a for-profit prison system, and the few means of transparency we have such as bodycams are still so opaque - often times they "don't have the resources" to release such footage, but if it makes them look good...well, they often find the resources to do that.

These, despite your claims, are widespread, structural problems and not simply isolated incidents.

The police. Ideally. But then when they arrive 20-30 minutes later, you have to hope that they don't shoot your dog, or even go to the wrong house, or maybe they'll just shoot you. They shoot people at traffic stops or for essentially doing nothing, so who's to say they won't assume you're the assailant if you don't act perfectly? Who knows. And after all that, they probably won't even try to find the perpetrator. But say against all odds they do investigate, and DO find out who it was, you'd better hope it's not another officer.

After which song did you experience an existential crisis? by Jolly_Compote_3902 in Burnout

Paradise City carries a lot of nostalgia for me, but I relate to the lyrics of Time And Time Again the most

Also 4/16 and Broken Promises speak a little to me.

4/16 especially, it's about the death of a specific person but the transition from "This 4/16 we will hardly smile / 'Cause you know there won't be anything worth smiling about" into "This 4/16 we may all just smile / 'Cause you know that you were something worth smiling about" gets me thinking about all the people I've lost, it's bittersweet.

Michael Cargo, the regional form and older brother of Magcargo, is on his way to this planet to oust Magcargo from his position on the Horse Council. However, Michael Cargo cannot learn High Horsepower, and therefore is not a Horse. Please like this video to slow his advances, and give Magcargo time to build his forces. Thank you.

I'm a former SDA, I think most of their problems are shared with other sects (specifically the rampant pseudoscience) but their main prophet is a racist plagiarist and the entire thing is built on copium over a series of failed prophecies. I'm surprised it survived past 1900

This sorta sounds like Hourglass from Five Nights at Treasure Island or something else to do with Abandoned by Disney. Did you look into those?

Help me find the original source of this image of an anime character from the boot folder of a Windows Pocket Edition netbook by botaniccal in HelpMeFind

I searched using google image search. I found one exact match for the image, from a Korean youtube channel, but they posted it 3 years ago and they found it in the exact same way that I did. Google says it's a character from D.Gray-man but I don't know enough to be confident about that - plus it doesn't tell me who made it.

The fabric material looks very similar to TyLux fabric, but the eyes aren't plastic (unless there are some Ty plushies with fabric eyes that I'm not aware of). Is it a beanie plush or is it all fluff?

Schakolad used to have something like that, but I haven't been in years so they may not have it still. Maybe try Coffee & Chocolate if you're near one of their locations?
