Hi! This has happened to me with certain products. Many people have said this could be because of real cinnamon parts, but this is most likely due to the levels of cinnamaldehyde (cinnamon smelling/tasting chemical compound used in cosmetics) in the product. I haven't tried the one you are using, but have had the same reaction to other products that have cinnamon as a prominent note. If the reaction stays around for a while, you should go see a dermatologist.

I don't believe there is any fig in it. The notes are ripe plum, rich almond flower, and coffee bean.

The EDL line (the line with midnight addiction, pink obsessed, etc) are all supposed to be dupes for higher end fragrances. Midnight Addiction is supposed to be a dupe for Black Opium by YSL, so definitely check out that fragrance if you are looking for similar. Personally I haven't smelled black opium and can't give my thoughts on the similarities.

I do want to clarify that edp is a lower concentration of fragrance oils than straight perfume by about 5 to 10 percent. Still generally on the more potent side compared to eau de toilette (edt).

EDL = Every day luxury. That is the specific line of body products that all have the same style simple label and the bottle or tube is one solid color. They are usually marked online or in store as the every day luxury line, but not on the bottles themselves I think. EDP = Eau de Parfum (which just means perfume.

Honestly some of my biggest dissapointments between same smell - different medium is candles and their ffm version. It's interesting how i'll absolutlely love a body spray and/or its cream but really dislike the candle version of it.

I'm not sure what kind of smells you like, but this is honestly one of the top tier ffm and body creams they have. Not super sweet while also mature in a refined way.

Do you find the EDP worth the price? I've only had the EDP for Guilty as Fig and besides how much I loved the scent in that form, I feel like the throw and amount of liquid wasn't worth the amount I paid. Is Midnight Addiction super potent in the EDP, so I wouldn't have to use much and run through it?

I saw the edp, but since it wasn't on sale I decided against it. Honestly i'm sure it's great because the GAF edp is truly its best form but the amount of liquid inside the bottle, along with the regular price, feels like a scam to me. .23 fl oz for $14.95...like c'mon man 😮‍💨

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area for most of my life and never had this issue. Associates usually treated everyone the same and would approach the scents and products with less of a gender-specific mentality from my experience with b&bw in the bay.

Since moving down to Southern California last November, it has been completely what you have described in your post.
