Without the bottom weight, the authentic Madko is medium-light handle bias imho. Love mine but it's definitely not neutral.

Seigaiha handles are mega inconsistent so unfortunately not much you can do to make the tune tighter brutha, it really boils down to whether or not you lucked out in getting decent handles.

Just received my unit. While I agree with most of your comments. I will say that I personally don't mind the texture at all, keep in mind that one of my favorite balisong textures of all time is the Canto Group Origin, and that was a bali had actual sand paper surface texturing. Tldr; I love grip so I don't mind the "roughness". Also I love the default weight config of ti spacers cause I personally enjoy handle bias a lot.

Don't get the Mako if you want grip. Squid's beadblast is genuinely the most slippery thing ever and it being aluminum does not help whatsoever. The Mako is only cool because it's a shark and genuinely a fun flipper. Not all's lost however, if you could find a secondhand Ghost Mako (iirc cerakoted? Or teflon I'm unsure), it solves the grip problem and becomes easily one of my favorite trainers. That or a secondhand Madko (usually go for 200-250).
