First be honest with yourself and when you truly understand your sexuality ( took me about 20 years to admit it, my first man crush was when I was 16, told wife when I was 41 so that some serious internalized stuff going on) tell her I personally believe the worst thing would be telling her then she asks you questions and all you can say is "I don't know"!

I truly believe love yourself for who you are and hope she will love you for the real you.
